As Executive Vice President of Human Resources, Nicole is based out of our US headquarters in Bloomfield, New Jersey. She has over 20 years of experience in HR/Customer Experience, Global Operations, Distribution, Supply Chain, and Business Management; she is a distinguished and talented expert.

At Alliance Advisors, Nicole partners with leaders to create and maintain a culture that drives retention, engagement, and performance. She oversees all HR initiatives and implementations, as well as all daily domestic and global HR operations and believes in leading by example. Nicole builds and executes thoughtful people-focused strategies and initiatives to recruit, retain, and grow high-performing talent.

As a strategic advisor and thought partner to the C-Suite, Nicole coaches employees and managers on organizational practices, processes, and values. An exceptional problem solver whose ability to resolve complex employee relations issues through effective, thorough, and objective investigations sets her apart.

Nicole graduated top of her class from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, NJ with a degree in Business Management/Finance. With her vast experience and expertise, Nicole is an invaluable member of the Alliance Advisors team.

Jacob Park is a corporate finance and capital markets professional with more than 15 years of experience advising companies and investors across Asia.

For the past eight years, he has led SS&C Intralinks Korea, where he supported more than 200 M&A and strategic transactions and built extensive relationships with Korea’s top corporate dealmakers.

His work has spanned Conglomerates, Bio-Pharmaceuticals, Semiconductors, and SMEs, positioning him as a trusted advisor in many of the country’s most high-profile deals and investments. Prior to SS&C Intralinks, Jacob held senior roles at UBS, where he gained expertise in business development, financial market analysis (forex and derivatives), and strategic planning. His career reflects a strong record in enterprise sales, market analysis and trading, with a focus on aligning clients’ strategic goals to market opportunities.

Jacob earned his MBA from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). He also holds a BS in Management of Financial Institution from De La Salle University.

With more than 20 years experience in supporting listed companies in the development of their corporate governance communication and engagement with institutional shareholders, Angelika is an expert in Annual General Meeting, Extraordinary General Meeting and Activism advisory.

She is a regular public speaker on topics relating to current Corporate Governance topics in the EMEA region and is based in our London Office.

She began her career as an analyst at Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) advising institutional investor clients on proxy voting decisions including proxy fights and other contested situations. Following this, she spent seven years at CtW Investment Group working closely with public and union pension funds to engage companies on a variety of ESG practices such as executive compensation, human capital management and shareholder rights. Prior to joining Alliance Advisors, she worked at ISS Corporate Solutions advising corporate clients in a variety of industries on executive compensation, governance ratings, and shareholder engagement.

Etelvina holds a B.S. in International Business and an MBA from American University in Washington, DC and a Masters in Financial Management from Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain. Etelvina is a SASB FSA credential holder.

Julie (Hae Young) Rhee is responsible for growing the business and client relationships in the Korea, Hong Kong and Singapore markets. Prior to joining Alliance Advisors, Julie headed the Issuer Solutions business for S&P Global and IHS Markit in South Korea. She has guided Korean issuers successfully through both special and regular shareholder meetings including landmark restructuring agenda items.

With over 13 years of financial markets experience, Julie started her career on the sell-side working for CLSA, ABN Amro and JP Morgan Cazenove in Seoul and Hong Kong. As an investor, she was a generalist covering the Asia ex-Japan region for a HK/London-based hedge fund. Julie has an in depth understanding across a wide range of disciplines including corporate governance/ESG and investor relations.

She holds an MBA from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University and a BSc. from Yonsei University.
